Moving On Up!

As in all things... I continue to be Fashionably Late.  My motto has always been "If you're early, you're on time, if you're on time, you're late, and if you're late, you're left!", but I don't think that applies to all aspects of life ;)  Why I am fashionably late today is because I am just now announcing my career change!  I recently joined Keller Williams as a real estate professional and have been sticking my nose to the grindstone!  I am only three weeks in and if I continue at the going rate, I will be writing an offer a week!  I would like to make that two a week (if you know anyone that could use my services, please let me know so I can make that goal happen)!

So, this blog will take a little bit of a turn.  I will still talk about my favorite things in Fashion, Family, Interior Design, Homes, and whatever floats by boat!  I look forward to informing you, my people, about all things that can be inspiring, uplifting, and hopefully with a dash of humor thrown in as well!

Look forward to seeing you on the flip-side!

I am back...

Ok, so I know I slacked off but I am back.

Lots of upcoming events but today I want to talk about my new... you guessed it... TENNIS BAG.

I am not sure if you are familiar with the Cinda B collection but they have great, but expensive, bags that are machine washable and come in cute colors. I just invested in a new tennis bag and I love it.

Here is where you can find their collection... www.cindab.com

There's No Place Like Home

So I was perusing Saks today and dreaming about shoes I cannot afford. I came across these and all I could think was they would have been perfect for my Dorothy costume for Halloween...

Holiday Market Preview Party

So I am jumping ahead a bit but I have to start now to find what I am going to wear to the Jr League Holiday Market preview party. It is cocktail attire so I decided to peruse Saks' website to see if I found any contenders. Your votes will help!

Chetta B Black Sequined

Kay Unger "Grown Up Party Dress"

Nanette Lapore "Rock the Party"

Tibi "Dupioni Demure"

Badgley Mischka "Berry Nice"

Yes I made up the little names next to them... except for the Chetta B because I like the name Chetta B!

Big City Shoes

If I were a different me... as in if I lived in a big, fashionable city... I would want to always dress up. I would love to be a fashion designer or work for one. And if I lived in a big, fashionable city, I would wear these shoes... Valentino Red Wonder

A Flat Fall

So, I have always loved heels but never wearing them. My feet are always aching within an hour or two of wearing them... but this doesn't stop me! I do, however, love that "flats" are so popular and have been for the past few seasons. Today, I found a pair that are just hmmm... awesome! I love the details and how they are edgy but you could put them on with skinny jeans and a boyfriend cardigan or wear them with a shift dress. So without further ado... if I actually could afford them... The Zipper Ballerina

Taylor Swift

So tonight I am going to the Taylor Swift concert and although my good friend K told me to wear a suede vest with fringe (I mean I am devastated that I don't have one of those...) I think I shall wear my boots, Tulah skirt, and my Liberty top.

So excited!!!!!!!!! Especially because concerts are the perfect place to people watch and play "what not to wear"... hilarity is sure to !
